Hi there all you good and wonderful people!
Yes, it was a long time since I posted in January, but I could not find out why the January post was put behind an ADULT SCREEN. Okay, I have rewritten that post and can you believe, it went through. Yeh...!
Anyway things are up and running here in South Africa. Not as bad as some make it out to be. Even the economy is okay. Less Putin's War causing ???? (Okay, I won't write it! Just now it get censored again. But you know what I mean.) The Reserve Bank has upped interest rates for the third time since January. They maintain it is to curb inflation, but they are just causing more inflation. Fuel and food prices going through the ceiling, and not only because of "Putin's War," but if you increase the interest rate, those guys that sell stuff to us, just put their prices up to keep profits up. Cycle of life, ain't it.
Talking about Putin's War; Just know that I feel for the Ukrainian people, as well as those unfortunate Russian souls that don't agree with their Crazy Leader. (He has 23 396 miles, (or 37 653 kilometers) of coastline to put his little ships, why does he need the Ukrainian Ports? Or is he … Never mind. Lets skip it.
Politics? Something very different than we souls out here in the cold. We stick together and let the politicians go there way. I read this morning on a website that sells scenery products for Flight Simulator, that due to a restriction on the word length of a file, they now refer to "OR Tambo International airport," simply as "Johannesburg International." Why? Well only a selected few locals call it "OR Tambo," the rest of the world call it "Johannesburg International." Same as with "Rome International," who nobody call it by its real name. LOL. It shows you - We, the people, have power! (They said let the politicians go and do whatever they feel happy about, they'll just call the airport by the name the people call it. LOL.)
So, "The Sound of Thunder" is in its ninth chapter, and doing good. The voting is a little slow, but the ratings is very good.
I also dropped a short story called "Caldo Largo," on the Storiesonline.net site. This was also received very well and even attracted a official review from a critic. WOW!
"Stray Cats Hunt in Darkness," attracted again the attention of Chris from "Covered Stories" blog. He created a nice cover for Stray Cats, and I will post it here, for those of you that want to download it and stick it with your copy of "Stray Cats Hunt in Darkness."
So, until next time (Soon!), keep well and stay safe!
Bye 4 now!
