Requested by some of my Readers about the whereabouts of Mapungubwe, here are some maps and Google Earth snaps, of the main features, described in the story “Stray Cats Hunt in Darkness.”
Kwela Camp Map Reference: South 22° 13’ 03.03” East 29° 21’ 51.68”
Mapungubwe Hill Map Reference: South 22° 12’ 42.06” East 29° 23’ 16,23”
This is in the format DD MM SS.ss
If you use Google Earth, zoom to where South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana borders get together. The confluence of the Limpopo river and the Shashe river with Coetzers Island is prominent.
“Kwela camp” is, in fact, the real “Leokwe Camp,” but for the story, it will be Kwela Camp.

Mapungubwe Hill is the large Club shape hill in the middle. |
