One of my Readers referenced that: "70% of Abrams tanks crews are young girls"
I looked at that statement and found that the best I could find is 15% of women serve in front line Armour Divisions. I also found some good pictures of them. I suspect that many of these photos could be "posed." You decide…
Check out the WOMEN IN MILITARY photo page. Most of these photos are from the IDF. (Israeli Defence Force) A few from the USA. There are also 3 pictures of a British female medic. (Cute: She fits into her own backpack!)
I did find reference to the fact that Israel, Russia, Syria, and USA do have an “all women Tank crew” in some of their Armoured Units.
